Reader, I started something new on Threads yesterday called Her Daily Dare.
One small action that brings you closer to your dream life.
This was the first one. π
And it got me thinking about how everything in my life and this business actually started. β¬οΈ
β
Just a few years ago, I used to cry at my hotel reception desk during night shifts wondering why my life wasn't different.
I am *not* kidding.
Full on tears behind the front desk at 3am thinking there has to be more than this.
And there was.
But nothing changed until I started taking action faster than I felt ready to.
βοΈ I wanted to launch a paid newsletter. I did it in 7 days. Two weeks ago.
βοΈ I wanted to start a blog. I launched it in one weekend, three years ago, with no idea what I was doing.
βοΈ I wanted to start this email diary. I did it one year ago, totally unsure if a single person would subscribe. Now over 3000 of you read my words every week.
βοΈ I wanted to launch an online course. 160+ women have invested in my courses in ONE year so far.
Every single one of those things started on a random day.
Not the right month, not when I felt ready, not when the timing was perfect.
Just a day I decided to go for it before I could talk myself out of it...
That said, you cannot plan your way into starting. π¬
You cannot sit there thinking "okay I will start XYZ next month when things calm down" because next month becomes next season becomes next year and that girl you want to be by summer never shows up.
It is the same with anything...
The woman who wanted to get fit and just started walking one random Tuesday instead of waiting for January.
The one who booked the solo trip before she felt brave enough.
The one who hit publish on her first blog post even though she thought it was terrible.
They all just started before they were ready. On a random day that turned out to change everything. π πΌ
So, this weekend I DARE you to do one thing that brings you closer to her.
Buy the domain. Choose the blog name. Invest in the course you have been thinking about since January.
Just one step before you overthink it.
You cannot manifest a dream life without ever moving towards it.
You still have to show up for it before you feel ready. Before the timing is perfect. Before you have it all figured out.
I went from hotel receptionist to writing weekly email diary entries from Bali cafes and European cobblestone streets that actually pay my bills. I show women how to turn their writing into income through their own dream blogs + email storytelling instead of performing for reel algorithms. Join 2,500+ women reading my Saturday diaries where I share the real behind-the-scenes of building this life.
