your daily life IS the content

Hiii Reader, I feel like it has been forever!!

I arrived in Bali last week and got hit with the WORST jetlag of my entire life.

One full week of waking up at 2pm, staring at the ceiling at 3 am, feeling like a ghost.

For someone who moves between two continents multiple times a year...

I truly don't know what happened this time. πŸ˜‚

However, this morning I woke up and thought okay, I need to write a diary for you today.

And my mind was completely blank. Which is funny because this week has been so uneventful that I wasn't sure what I even had to say.

I haven't done anything exciting since I got here.

No beach clubs or big adventures, no social media worthy moments.

I just sleep, eat some local food, watch too much Netflix and trying new matcha lattes at the little rice field cafe around the corner from where we're staying.

How exciting... 😏

And yet here I am writing to you about it, and you're still reading.

That said, if you been thinking of starting your own email list, or building anything online, your life doesn't need to be exciting for people to want to read about it.

It just needs to be HONEST.

I've been writing these diaries for over a year now and some of my most replied emails have been about the most ordinary moments.

When I didn't brush my hair for two days because I was spending some time in a Scandinavian winter cottage and I couldn't care less how I looked.

When I had a tough time with my relationship and I didn't know where I belong.

A random thought I had while making coffee.

The time I got so seasick on a boat in Amalfi that I had to pay €100 just to get off the boat. πŸ˜‚

None of it was groundbreaking, but all of it felt like something.

So if you've been putting off starting your own thing because you think your life isn't interesting enough...

Reader, I'm writing this from a bed with cheap coffee I bought from the market, jetlagged, with nothing to report, and you're still here.

Your life is already interesting enough, you just have to write it down.

And of course, monetize it eventually. πŸ’Œ

"Your ordinary life is someone else's inspiration. The slow mornings, the boring weeks, the nothing-to-report Tuesdays - all of it is worth sharing."

πŸ§‹These diaries are free and always will be, but if one of them ever made your day a little better, you can buy me another matcha here.

See you on Saturday,
